Who is responsible for your information?
Apex Home & Electrical (AHE), Halifax, is responsible for personal information you provide when you call, email or send a quote enquiry. Questions can be sent to Richie@apexhomeelectrical.co.uk or raised by calling 07973 980486.
What information is collected?
AHE may receive your name, telephone number, email address, postcode or job location, and the details you provide about the work. The website quote form opens your own email application; the site does not store the form submission in a website database.
Why it is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange visits, prepare quotations, carry out requested work, maintain appropriate business and accounting records, and meet legal obligations. The usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, legitimate business interests and legal obligations.
Who it is shared with
Information is not sold. It may be shared only where necessary with professional advisers, insurers, payment or accounting providers, relevant suppliers or subcontractors, or public authorities when legally required.
How long it is kept
Enquiry information that does not lead to work is kept only as long as reasonably needed to deal with the enquiry. Records relating to quotations, completed work, payments, guarantees or legal obligations may be retained for the applicable business and legal record-keeping period.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain use. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact AHE first if you would like help with a request.
